Lionel Tallent had a career in industry and led from the front in a number of jobs in an international group for over 16 years. Starting out in sales, he soon also took on responsibility for apprentice training in French-speaking Switzerland.

Always very interested in finance, he then studied for the Swiss Federal Diploma in finance and accounting, while at the same time being
responsible for financial management for the group’s five branches in French and German-speaking Switzerland. Wanting to add value with his human perspective while continuing to play to his affinity for business operations, he took an opportunity for internal transfer to move to the parent company, managing a team for the Bas-Valais region. After more than three years of acquisitions, building loyalty and overall success, and with a baby on the way, he was presented with an opportunity for promotion close to home: to take over the administration department for French-speaking Switzerland, with direct line management responsibility for a dozen staff.

After two years as a manager and member of the regional leadership team, it was time to look for new opportunities. Lionel decided on a complete change of direction and to use his extensive experience to support and develop human value. He had always been very interested in professional development and so decided to train as a job coach and then to work for the certificate of the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning (SVEB M1), which was awarded in March 2019. Throughout his career, Lionel has always been committed to his staff, with a participative leadership style, while exceeding set targets. Wanting to enrich this approach and motivated by the wish to pass on his experience, he moved into the world of consultancy and coaching in 2017. At the same time, he works for a number of voluntary bodies, offering training courses, and is a guardian (curateur) for vulnerable adults in the Canton of Vaud.

Lionel joined Humanys Solutions in April 2019 as a Senior HR Consultant. He is passionate about and deeply interested in human relations and he will bring you his energy and expertise on a daily basis. This is absolutely essential when you are looking for work. “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” Henry Ford
