Gérald Troy has a Master’s degree in Economics and Management. He has managed profit centres in the fields of IT and office automation for well-known multinational companies. He is results-orientated and achieves his goals by deploying high-performance tools and mobilising the right technical and human resources. He listens to his staff and develops the entrepreneurial spirit in each and every one of them: willingness to take risks and to excel and confidence in the way they act. He is a patient negotiator, with a great deal of empathy. He assess situations rapidly, identifies improvement pathways and seeks solutions to problems.
He has also taken a course in the management of charitable foundations at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration in Lausanne and contributed to a number of humanitarian projects. A people person and a networker, he is an active member of his local community, where he sits on the Communal Council He loves sailing and is out on Lake Geneva as often as possible, though he prefers the Mediterranean, where he was born.
